This will cause booking.com to email the guest asking them to add an additional card to the booking.

This does not change the status of the booking.

If the guest does not respond after 36 hours you can cancel the booking but you must do this within the booking.com extranet.

An invalid credit card can be reported immediately after the reservation is made, up until midnight (00:00) on the day of check-in, in the property's local timezone.
