This page explains how to create a virtual roomtype with multiple rooms from individual rooms.

Example: You have 3 rooms all updated individually at a channel like Airbnb. You also want to sell them on Booking.com or other channel but they require a "roomtype" with a quantity of 3.

Method

Create a new room with the characteristics of your individual rooms but with a quantity of 3 and use the following settings.

  • Requires Availability in: Room 1 or Room 2 or Room 3
  • Combination Logic: Sum of all bookings
  • Dependency Level: Ignore Sub Dependencies
  • Overbooking Protection: Property
  • Assign Bookings to: First Available Dependancy Room
  • Unit Allocation: One per Booking
  • Use Prices From: Room 1 (to use the prices from room 1, alternatively you can use "This Room" and create individual rates for the virtual roomtype)
