This page explains how to create a legacy booking box calendar for your website.
Go to (SETTINGS) BOOKING ENGINE > BOOKING WIDGETS > BOOKING BUTTON and click on the link at the bottom.
This widget designer lets you create your own booking box. The box is designed to look best in modern browsers. Please note that the result might be slightly different depending on the browser the use.
Use the selector to define if the link should open your booking page displaying all properties (in case you have more than one), a property or a room.
You can customise defining:
- text
- font size
- text color
- fade from color
- face to color - if you dont want a fading effect, set both colours the same
- People Selection - set if you want to ask for the total number of guests or if you guests enter each a number for adults and children
- Nights in Advance - which should be the first date displayed calculated from the actual day in advance
- Number of Nights - this sets the default number of nights displayed in the widget
- referer text - If you use widgets on different webs sites you may use different referers on each. This text will be recorded with any bookings originating from this widget allowing tracking of booking sources.
- Include Group - this setting applies only for association widgets. If you are designing a property or room widget you can ignore this. If you create an association widget your have the option to use a widget only some of the groups you have set in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> JOIN ASSOCIATION. If you enter groups here (separated with a comma) the widget will only display these groups
- Exclude Group - this setting applies only for association widgets. If you are designing a property or room widget you can ignore this. If you enter groups here (separated with a comma) the widget will display all groups except for these.
You can change the settings and click on REFRESH for a preview. When you are happy with the design click on GET CODE. Copy the code to where you want to display the widget in the websites source code.
Our webdesigner can do the adjustments and/or installation for you for a small fee. Just send us a message with your requirements via SUPPORT in the top menu.
