This cut off time works in conjunction with your account timezone as set in ACCOUNT settings.

The availability cut off will be sent to channels via the channel manager but depending on the channel there may be some delay before it is effective.
 
Examples:
 
Cut-off time 10:00 - Guests can book for the same day but only if they book before 10am. The system won't allow a same day booking after 10am.
 
Cut-off time 18:00 - Guests can book for the same day until 6pm. Any attempt to place a same day booking after 6pm will fail.
 
Cut-off time 00:00 - Same day bookings are not possible at all.
