The Time Window sets the maximum period after the initial trigger time that the action can still trigger.
The Auto action can first trigger based on the Trigger Time and Trigger Event settings. (trigger allowed start time)


If an event execution is set to allow repeats or it does not trigger immediately, it will be re-tested for a valid trigger condition once per hour for the duration of the Time Window value.
Based on other settings the Auto action may or may not be able to trigger at this time.
 
If it has not triggered or it is set to allow repeats, the Auto action is routinely rechecked for up to the Time Window period after the trigger allowed start time.
 
After the Time Window period expires the Auto action is no longer allowed to trigger.
