Email templates are pre-canned emails which can be sent manually or programmed to be sent automatically to guests at specific times after the booking was made, before arrival or after departure. | |||
The emails can contain [[Template Variables]] to include information specific to the booking in the email, for example the guests name or the arrival date. | |||
In SETTINGS -> GUEST MANAGEMENT -> TEMPLATE EMAILS you can define a number of pre-canned standard reply emails with a subject and text. | |||
To send Emails manually open a booking and go to the MAIL tab. | |||
The emails are then opened ready to send to your guest with a single click on the envelope icons ''Bookings''. The email will open in your normal email program on your computer. You may send it as is or edit it before sending. | |||
Some systems have a limit of about 2000 characters for this form of email generation. If the email will not open try reducing the amount of text. | |||
