Description to add with the invoice item. Template variables can be used

A status value for the invoice item can be specified after the description by adding a pipe (|) symbol.

A price value for the invoice item can be specified after a second pipe (|) symbol, this can be used to calculate a price using template variables. If the price value in the description field is zero, the numeric price value from the price field will be used.
