To use this service you will need an account with Mailchimp

For Beds24 the normal channel manger fees apply.

Capabilities

Beds24 can send guest names, E-mail addresses, language and booking number to Mailchimp

Limitations

Set Up

Mailchimp

  • Log into Mailchimp
  • Go to ACCOUNT-EXTRAS-API KEYS and create an API Key.
  • Go to LISTS-SETTINGS-LIST NAME & DEFAULTS and get the list ID of the list you want to send to.
  • Connect the Beds24 App to your scenario and enter the apiKey you created and the Beds24 Property Id.
  • Select the trigger "watch bookings" and map the data into your scenario as you require.


Beds24

  • Set up an Auto Action (SETTINGS-GUEST MANAGEMENT-AUTO ACTIONS) which selects the bookings which will be sent to Mailchimp. Set "Trigger Action" = automatic.
  • Select the Auto Action which you want to use for Mailchimp.
  • Enter the Mailchimp API key
  • Enter the Mailchimp list ID
  • Tick the rooms for which you want to send bookings. Only bookings from rooms enabled for Mailchimp and which meet the trigger conditions in the Auto Action will be sent.


How it works

Bookings are sent from Beds24 to Mailchimp when the room is enabled and the booking meets the trigger condition in the selected auto action.

Common Problems

Disconnect

  • Untick "Bookings" to stop sending bookings.
  • In Mailchimp oo to ACCOUNT-EXTRAS-API KEYS and deactivate the API Key.
