TripConnect

Trip Connect is a program by Tripadvisor to allow you to bid to have a link to your booking page shown directly on your Tripadvisor page.

You will need:

• a Tripadvisor business account
• join the program via your Tripadvisor account

Once you have joined the programe go to CHANNEL MANAGER -> TRIPCONNECT

• Set TripConnect to Enable in the Channel Manager settings. The Notify setting will only notify Trip Connect you are capable of joining their program using Beds24, it will not allow prices to be sent.
• Enter your Tripadvisor ID, this is normally the number after the d in the URL of your tripadvisor page.
• Make sure you have filled in all fields in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> DESCRIPTION "Location and Contact". These fields are mandatory for TripConnect to correctly identify your property.
• Enable Synchronise for the rooms you want to offer via TripConnect.
• The currency code sent to TripConnect is defined in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> DEPOSIT COLLECTION and must be set to match your prices entered in Beds24.

If you select Price (Inc. Tax) all compulsory percentage upsell items defined for the property will be included as tax values and added to the final price sent to TripConnect.
