1 Setup

To use this payment option you will need an account with the payment provider.

Register here for a Stripe account.


To connect you will need to enter the specified information from your payment system account.

Stripe will display the booking reference in a data field called "data-description".

2 Functionality

In Beds24 you will see the paid amount in the "Invoice" tab of the booking.

2.1 Collect additional payment

Once a payment is successfully collected further charges can be made to the customer's card via Stripe. The menu for this is available on the "Invoice" tab of the booking.

2.2 Automatically send all credit card details to Stripe

If you set "Save all cards to Stripe" = Yes credit cards supplied by all channels will be sent directly to Stripe where the cards can be charged and delete them from Beds24.

This function works independent of the Stripe deposit collection and will save cards from channel management or entered directly on the booking page. It will not save cards entered manually in the control panel.

The card will be saved as a new customer in Stripe with the booking number as a reference.

The card will not be charged when it is saved.

Once saved to Stripe the card can be charged from a menu within the Booking or from Stripe itself.

Stripe will normally only accept valid cards. If Stripe reject the card, it's details will not be deleted from Beds24.

2.3 Refund of Payments in Stripe

There are two types of card collection at stripe:

1) Deposit collection via our booking page, this is a real charge and needs to be refunded manually in STRIPE

2) Card passed from channel like booking.com to stripe, this is the one where the card is not charged by us, the hotel can both charge and refund the card manually in STRIPE
