Individual Rooms and Roomtypes

You offer your rooms by roomtype on your booking page but have several rooms of one type. You want to assign bookings to specific rooms in the control panel and/or have the option to change the assigned room.

1. Setup your real rooms' If necessary add rooms in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> ROOMS. Go to SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> ROOMS -> SETUP and

• Set "Quantity of This Type" to 1
• Enter the number of Guests
• Set "Sell Priority" to "Hide Room"
• Leave all other settings on the defaults.

2. Create a virtual room to display on your booking page

If necessary add a room in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> ROOMS. Go to SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> ROOMS -> SETUP and

• Set "Quantity of This Type" to the number of rooms of this room type.
• Enter the number of Guests
• Set "Requires Availability in" for each of your real rooms. The order defines where bookings will be placed first.
• Set "Assign Bookings to"
• Leave all other settings on the defaults.

To assign a booking to a different room just open the booking and change "Unit".
