This page explains how to create a virtual room type with multiple rooms from a number of individual rooms.
'''Example''': You have 3 real a number of individual rooms all updated individually to individual listings at a channel like Airbnb. You also want to sell them on Booking.com or other channel but they require that requires a "room type" with a quantity of 3the available rooms. (this example will work with any number between 2 and 12 individual rooms)
It is assumed you already have setup the individual rooms each with a quantity of one, if not, create these first.
Create a new virtual room type with a quantity of 3 individual rooms in SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES-> ROOMS->SETUP

Go to SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->ROOMS->DEPENDENCIES and use the following settings for the virtual room:
*Requires Availability in = Room 1 or Room select all the individual rooms. (2 or Room 3to 12 of them)
*Combination Logic = Sum of all bookings
*Dependency Level = Ignore Sub Dependencies
*Use Prices From =Room 1 (to use the prices from room 1, alternatively you can use "This Room" and create individual rates prices for the virtual roomtyperoom type and optionally set the individual rooms to use these)
*Assign Bookings to = First Available Dependency Room
If you want to see the bookings in your virtual room you can use the "Include Bookings from" setting. This will mirror the booking bookings from the "real" roomsinto the virtual room. Please note that the unit allocation within the 3 units of the virtual room will not work in this case.
