To show custom reports on the Dashboard, build the report in REPORTS->CUSTOM REPORTS, update the report name and "Layout" = Tabular.
Then go to [[:Category:Dashboard|Dashboard ]] and in Components add the Custom report number to your Dashboard. Check the details here [[:Category:Dashboard|Dashboard]]
