You can make rooms dependent on each other meaning that one is only available it the other one is available, too.
Example: A holiday house which consits two separate apartments (Apartment1 and Apartment2). Apartment1 Apartment2 can be split up into two separtely bookable apartments (Apartment1A Apartment2A and Apartment1BApartment2B). Also the complete house is for rent. To set this up you will need to set up five room in SETTINGS -> ROOMS.

Dependencies work bottom up - to be available the larger unit needs the smaller unit to be available. To achieve this set following dependencies in SETTINGS -> ROOMS -> SETUP "Availability":
*House: requires Availability in Apartment1 and Apartment2
*Apartment1Apartment2: requires availability in Apartment1A Apartment2A and Apartment1BApartment2B
*House: Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment1 and Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment2
*Apartment1 Apartment2 :Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment1A Apartment2A and Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment1BApartment2B
