Divide a house into separately bookable units

Room dependencies allow you to offer one unit as a whole and at the same time offer parts individually.

Example: A holiday house which consits two separate apartments (Apartment1 and Apartment2). Apartment2 can be split up into two separtely bookable apartments (Apartment2A and Apartment2B). Also the complete house is for rent. To set this up you will need to set up five room in SETTINGS -> ROOMS:

• House
• Apartment1
• Apartment2
• Apartment2A
• Apartment2B

Dependencies work bottom up - to be available the larger unit needs the smaller unit to be available. To achieve this set following dependencies in SETTINGS -> ROOMS -> SETUP "Availability":

• House: requires Availability in Apartment1 and Apartment2
• Apartment2: requires availability in Apartment2A and Apartment2B

A booking for a larger unit will make the smaller unit unavailable. Therefore you will need to send a copy of the booking to the smaller unit. Do this in SETTINGS -> ROOMS -> SETUP "Assign Bookings" setting:

• House: Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment1 and Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment2
• Apartment2 :Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment2A and Assign a Copy Booking to Apartment2B
