1. Adjust the rate settings for your rooms
Single and Double Room are "Primary" room types which are automatically set up in HRS.
All other room types are "Secondary" rooms which need to be set up in HRS:
*3-bed room (Extrabed 1)
*4-bed room (Extrabed 2)
*Comfort/Superior Double or Single room
*Budget/Economy Double or Single room
Note: Each rate type in HRS has its own availability. Therefore each rate type in HRS corresponds to a room in Beds24. You can send different rate types at on different dates (i.e. "Special" on weekdays and "Weekend" on weekends, "Trade show during trade show periods). If you want to offer different rate types for one HRS room type at the same date i.e. "Special" and "Hotdeal" you need a room in Beds24 for each.
==== Mapping====
Due to the primary and secondary room methodology you always need to map a primary room (single and/or double). Since each rate group has its own availability the mapping is done by room and rate type combination.
Room and rate types combinations from HRS are imported in the following format:
Standard room types (single or double): Standard - Rate Group (Row) - Single or Double - Rate Type
*Click on the "Get Code" link next to the room id setting to retrieve a list of HRS rate types.
For example *[CONVERT:IDR-EUR] will convert Indonesian Rupees to Euros.
===Hot Deal===
if one booking comes in for any rate, we'll automatically reduce the Availability for both rate plans. Meaning that if Hot Deal is booked, we'll close the room for all rate plans. Also, as far as we are aware, a customer can not book Hot Deal and trade fair with the same booking, meaning the chance of overbooking is extremely small.
