This page is about the menu MESSAGES andexplains and explains how to view and answer messages from OTAs directly from Beds24. 
=Funcitionality=
*You can view all messages from the "API Messages" component on the [[:Category:Dashboard|DASHBOARD]].
==Send messages to guests==
Open the booking and go to the "API Messages" tab or click on the message on the dashboard to open the thread.
Enter your reply there. Auto Actions can be used to send message templates from the "Mail & Actions" tab.
=Supported OTA's =
Please check the channels help pages for further information.
==Airbnb==
You can communicate with Airbnb guests directly from Beds24.
Airbnb allows links but does not support HTML therefore we recommend you add a plain text version to your Auto Actions.
The messages will be added to the Airbnb reservation message thread.
Airbnb supports attachments in JPG, GIF and PNG format.
 
==Booking.com==
You can communicate with Booking.com guests directly from Beds24.
Booking.com does not support HTML therefore we recommend you add a plain text version to your Auto Actions. Booking.com allows attachments but no links or pdfs.
 
You and your guests will see the messages in Booking.com Messaging Center.
 
==Expedia (Beta) ==
Expedia does not support HTML therefore we recommend you add a plain text version to your Auto Actions.
 
Expedia supports attachments in JPG, GIF, PNG and PDF format.

==VRBO ==
You can communicate with VRBO guests directly from Beds24.
VRBO allows links but does not support HTML therefore we recommend you add a plain text version to your Auto Actions.
 
The messages will be added to the VRBO reservation message thread.
 
VRBO supports attachments in PDF, JPG, PNG, and GIF format.
