1.5 Custom Taxes
You can customize how the use CUSTOMSTAYFEE to create custom tax is applied rules using CUSTOMSTAYFEE plus the amount, type, how the fee tax is collected, the length of stay for which the tax applies and the base for the collection if the tax is a percentage.
Types (the default is TAX):
How the fee tax is collected (the default is NIGHT):
NIGHT
Base for PERCENT taxes only (the default is BASE=ALL):
BASE=ALL
LOS<11 (exchange 11 for the length of stay that has no tax)
Examples:
CUSTOMSTAYFEE 2 HOTELTAX GUEST BASE=ALLGUESTNIGHT
This will send a hoteltax of 2 per guestper night
CUSTOMSTAYFEE 2 HOTELTAX PERCENT BASE=RENT
This will send a hoteltax of 2% on the lodging priceexcluding taxes and fees
