You may offer extra services to your guest at the time of booking, perhaps bicycle hire, a sightseeing trip, meal, parking etc.

• Optional will let your guest add an item

• Optional Qty in which case the guest can freely enter the quantity of this item they would like to book.

• optional % items are added as a percentage of the bill

Obligatory items will be automatically added to the booking and cannot be removed by the guest. An example would be an end of stay cleaning charge.

• Obligatory will add this item to the bill

• Obligatory % items are added as a percentage of the bill, an example would be tax charges.In this case enter the percentage in the Price field and the Per and Period fields are ignored.

The obligatory percentage is calculated on the room price plus all selected extras defined before this one. Extra items defined after this will not be included in the percentage calculation. This could be used to add tax free items after the tax calculation.
