This sets the minimum number of nights that must be stayed for this rate price to apply.

For example if you do not want to accept one night stays set all your rates to a "Default" applies the minimum stay of 2 or moreset in the room settings.

This field can also be used For example if you do not want to to set a cheaper rate for longer accept one night stays. Create a second rate with this field set to the required stay period and all your cheaper prices and it will be offered when the guest books to a minimum stay this period of 2 or longermore.

Create a second price with this field set to the required stay period and your cheaper prices and it will be offered when the guest books to stay this period or longer. If a booking involves multiple rates prices the minimum stay is the total number of nights being booked, not the number of nights for which each rate price applies.  Note: Minimum stays set in prices can be overridden with longer minimum stays set in the CALENDAR.
