TripadvisorRentals allows you to synchronise inventory, rates and content. Sending content is optional. Via the interface you can:*Create create new listings*Update update existing listings*Send send and update content information*Send send and update pictures*Beds24.com can export listing content*Beds24.com can export inventory*Beds24.com can export prices*Beds24 can apply a multiplier to the prices*Beds24 can export changeover dates, complex closed to arrival and closed to departure rules might not send. *import bookings, modifications to bookings and enquiries. Enquiries are imported as "Request" bookings.

== Limitations==
*Tripadvisor makes the XML connection available to TripadvisorRentals customers with 5 15 or more listings.
*A listing can not be activated until the full location (address, latitude, longitude) has been checked by Tripadvisor. After Tripadvisor has checked the location it can not be changed.
*Tripadvisor does not support room types, the connected Beds24 room type should have a quantity of one. You can [[Combine_individual_rooms_into_a_roomtype|set up virtual roooms]] to create room types for other channels like booking.com if necessary

*Send If you already have an account with Tripadvisor send an email to pmsupportpmssales@tripadvisor.com and ask with following information:**Your TripAdvisor Account ID**Your registered TripAdvisor Rentals account Email address**A note that you want to be connected to Beds24 channel manager via the TripadvisorRentals Content API. Give them your **Your Beds24 account number (owner ID) which you can find under SETTINGS-ACCOUNT and tell them this is your Beds24 external account reference.
*Use this [https://www.tripadvisor.com/RentalInsights/get-started#list form] if you already have an account with Tripadvisor. Activation is per Beds24 account. All properties owned by a Beds24 account can be connected. If you have properties in a sub acccount which need to be connected go to SUB ACCOUNT -> Manage Account -> Manage Property > Channel Managment > "Tripadvisor Rentals XML Connect via Account". With this setting, you can select that the property connects to Tripadvisor Rentals via a different account than the one it is in.
==== Map existing listings====
*Click on "View Listings in Account". You will see a list if your TripadvisorRentals listings with their listing IDs. Tripadvisor will also send deleted listings to Beds24. Make sure you ignore them.
*When you click on "view data from channel" you will see the content TripadvisorRentals returns for the listing.
*Select the corresponding room in Beds24 and click "Connect".

If you do not want to import enquireis enquires go to SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER->TRIPADVISOR RENTALS ->SPECIFIC CONTENT and set "Import Inquiries" = No.
== Prices ==
*An extra person price.
*A weekly or monthly discount.
Tripadvisor rentals do not support decimal places on prices.
Note: Due to a bug in the Tripadvisor system you will need to first set guests included to blank and the additional price to zero then click publish or update. Once you see no errors, add the additional guest info back in and update again.

A tax percentage for taxes which are not included in the price can be entered in SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER->TRIPADVISOR RENTALS->SPECIFIC CONTENT.

== Content ==
Tripadvisor only allows cover (first) pictures in landscape format.
Tripadvisor will not auto change pictures. If you want to change your pictures do this in Beds24 and then ask Tripadvisor to review your pictures and update them for you.
Note: Tripadvisor only allows each picture to be used once. Please go to Settings > Channel Manager > Tripadvisor Rentals XML > Specific Content and set Pictures = Room. Then go to Settings > Booking Page > Pictures and make sure all 'Room' pictures are only used once.
