Each property can create up to 20 upsell items.
*Add charges like taxes or cleaning fees
Select whether the item is optional or obligatory. Obligatory items will be automatically added to the booking and cannot be removed by the guest. An example would be an end of stay cleaning charge. Optional items can be selected by the guest with their booking. Examples might be a cooked breakfast or bike hire.

If your prices do not include tax you can add the tax with the settings "obligatory %" "per booking" "one time"
To show included taxes in the invoice use the template variables [INVOICETABLEVAT] or [INVOICETABLEVAT2]
Example: 15% VAT are included in the room price. The lodging offers breakfast as an extra. 20% VAT are included in the price for the breakfast.
Go to SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->BOOKING RULES and set "Vat Rate %" = 15
Go to SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->UPSELL ITEMS and add breakfast as an "Upsell Item" with "Vat %" = 20
To show VAT use change your confirmations (SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->CONFIRMATION MESSAGES) and invoice template (SETTINGS->GUEST MANAGEMENT->INVOICING) to use the template variable [INVOICETABLEVAT].
