Setting/roomsroomdesc
You can use this field to show a description in your booking engine. Go to (SETTINGS) BOOKING ENGINE > PROPERTY BOOKING PAGE > LAYOUT in Rooms section Top or Bottom and choose the Module from Add Module Drop Down list "Room Description 1". If you click on Manage Button you can set how the module is displayed in desktop view and in mobile view.
- Desktop or Mobile show = the module will be shown
- Desktop or Mobile hide = the module will be hidden
- Desktop or Mobile link = a link will be shown and a click on the link will open the module. Information you enter here will be visible after the guest click on "More Details" opening directly under your room name.
A click on EDIT will open the editor. Normally you would enter text only.
If you want to insert a picture:
- Go to SETTINGS -> BOOKING ENGINE ->PICTURES
- If you have not alread uploaded pictures upload them now an resize the to the appropriate size to suit the area you want to use them on
- Copy the complete information from IMAGE TAG
- Go to BOOKING PAGE click on the section you want to enter the picture click on the EDIT button
- paste the IMAGE TAG into the filed and click SAVE. If you do not see the picture click on EDIT again and it should display. If still not check the you have copied the complete IMAGE TAG in.
Once you have entered a picture you can change it when you click the EDIT button and double click on the picture.
Use only pictures you have uploaded on SETTINGS -> BOOKING PAGE -> PICTURES. Your booking page is a secure page. Inserting pictures form other locations will cause your page to loose the secure status.
In (SETTINGS) PROPERTIES > ROOMS > SETUP > Room Description 1 we say: Information you enter here will be visible after the guest click on "More Details" opening directly under your room name. I am confused. Where is this visible? In the Booking engine? Maybe it was from the old booking engine?
