Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) Embedded means the Stripe checkout is a regulatory requirement embedded in some countries the booking page and the booker makes the payment directly in the booking page. Hosted means the Checkout is hosted by Stripe, the booker is redirected to Stripe to reduce fraud and make online payments more securethe payment. Not all Stripe payment methods are supported by the Embedded checkout. If you want to use Stripe local payment methods you need to use the Hosted checkout.
