If you have set "Non Payment Booking Status" = Request in SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->DEPOSIT COLLECTION the system will send out two confirmations. One after the guest clicked "Confirm Booking" without the deposit payment instruction and one after the payment has been made (for offlne payments after the payment method has been accepted).

One as soon as the guest clicks "Confirm Booking" to confirm their request and a second one containing the payment instruction message after the payment option has been selected (if it is a payment option with an instruction like offlne payments).  


If you do not want to send two confirmation messages set Non Payment Booking Status" = Cancelled.
