Synchronising Beds24.com with your Google (iCal) calendar

Capabilities

Beds24.com can export bookings to your Google (iCal) calendar.

Limitations

OnBold textly active bookings are exported, cancelled bookings will not appear. The iCal export is public so no personal information is exported. A link in the booking description will open the full booking information in the Beds24 control panel if you are logged in to Beds24.

The Calendar program is responsible for updating the calendar, we have no control over how often systems like Google calendar actually perform an update.

What you will need:

• The Beds24 room id numbers. You will find these on the room description settings page.

The Beds24 Calendar URL is as follows with the roomid number changed to your room id. In the following example the room id is 9999.

The calendar will only be activated when the booking checkbox is checked.

Setup

Beds24.com: Enable iCal Format in the synchroniser and click save. Then check the Booking checkbox for each room you want to synchronise and click save again.

Google.com: The iCal export will work with any calendar capable of importing iCal format data. Google is chosen here as an example because it is often used.

• Log into your Google calendar.
• In the left column select "Other calendars".
• Select "Add by URL".
• Enter the Beds24 Calendar URL (see above).
• Click Add Calendar and the bookings for that room should import.
• Repeat for any other rooms.
