Daily Use
This page shows links to functions which are used in daily management.

On top of the functions listed in the Setup Guide Beds24 offers many functions to help you save time and improve your workflows and your guests experience. This page lists commonly used features. Also use the links at the bottom.

1 Automation

Online bookings will automatically import to Beds24 from all connected sales channels and the Channel Manager will automatically update your prices and availability to your connected sales channels. Refer to the help pages for the channels you use for details.

Other automation in Beds24 is done via [[Auto_Actions|Auto Actions[[ which you can set up in (SETTINGS) GUEST MANAGEMENT > AUTO ACTIONS.

An Auto Action is an action which can be used manually or programmed to run automatically at a specific time relative to the time of the booking, to the check-in date or to the check-out date.

Auto actions have one or more trigger conditions and one or more actions. They can be triggered on a number of different conditions, like property, time or booking related conditions.

Auto Actions can

  • send pre-drafted Emails, messages or SMS
  • change booking information
  • change invoice information
  • run webhooks
  • trigger HTTP POST notifications

You can create chains of actions to automate workflows.

Commonly used Auto Actions are:

  • Welcome message to the guest
  • Payment request
  • Arrival information with guest guide
  • Owner notificaton
  • Message with keycode (if used)
  • How are you going message to guest
  • Send Check-out info to guest
  • Send invoice to guest
  • Cleaner notifications

Routines automatically send reports via Email.

2 Advanced Channel Manager Functions

  • Messaging integration to communicate with the guest from the booking in Beds24 via the channels messaging system

3 Advanced Pricing & Discounts

You can have up to 16 with different rules. Each of the 16 daily prices can have a different price on any given day which allow you to create seasonal prices with different prices options and discounts.

Each channel has its own capabilites and we strive to offer the maximum possible for each channel. See the help page for the channels you use for details.

If you want to adjust your prices dynamically you have following options:

  • Use Daily Prices and manually adjust prices as required
  • The Beds24 Yield Optimizer (PRICES -> YIELD OPTIMIZER) automatically adjust prices based on demand shortly before check-in.
  • Our partners Pricelabs ( (SETTINGS) > APPS&INTEGRATIONS > PRICELABS) and RoomPriceGenie ( (SETTINGS) > APPS&INTEGRATIONS > ROOMPRICEGENIE) can can automatically send daily prices to Beds24.

4 Staff

Cleaners and other staff can either have their own login via a subaccount with a dedicated role which defines what they can do or see or they can be automatically notified via Email.

Alternatively you can use a third party integration for staff management.

Owners can either have their own login via a subaccount with limited access or they can be automatically notified via Email.
